Firstly, a warm welcome to everyone from Ivybridge Town making the trip to Ironmould Lane today. We hope you enjoy your visit.

We came into last Saturday’s FA Cup game on the back of three wins in a row without conceding a goal, so confidence within the group was high. That said, we knew we were going into a really tough game and that we’d have to work hard for anything we got.

Togetherness

Losing our goalkeeper just after half-time certainly wasn’t in the plan — and me having to put the gloves on probably wasn’t what anyone expected to see either! But I thought the lads responded brilliantly to the situation. They dug in, worked for each other and showed the togetherness we’ve been building within this group.

Plenty more to come

The boys are in really good spirits at the moment. Performances have been improving week by week and I genuinely believe there is still plenty more to come from us.

Another opportunity

Today is another opportunity to put more points on the board, which I feel the lads thoroughly deserve for the work and commitment they’ve been showing.

As always, your support makes a massive difference, so get behind the boys from the first whistle and hopefully we can give you another performance to be proud of.
